Heavy rains in PNG's West New Britain province leaves thousands in need

Heavy rain over the last three days has left thousands of people in Papua New Guinea's West New Britain province in need of food, shelter and health services.

40 homes have been washed away and communication and roads have been cut off.

West New Britain Governor Sasindra Muthuvel told Pacific Beat, the cost of the damage has run into millions.
