Hundreds evacuated in flood-threatened Australian town

In the Australian state of New South Wales, the town of Maclean has been playing a desperate game of chicken with floods overnight after the Clarence River rose to just ten centimetres below the town's levy.

The threat's not over yet and about 750 people were told to evacuate in Maclean last night.
