IMF approves funds for Solomon Islands

In Solomon Islands, the International Monetary Fund has approved a extention of credit worth almost 2-million Australian dollars.

The money is part of the IMF's Extended Credit Facility.

The E-C-F is seen by the International Monetary Fund as a critical financial tool for tackling poverty and institutional issues in the Solomon Islands.
