Kiribati wetlands protected under Ramsar convention

Kiribati has been granted accession to the Ramsar convention on wetlands.

for the 1,000 hectare No'oto wetlands at North Tarawa.

To find out more about the site, and its importance, Campbell Cooney spoke to Vainuupo Jungblut, he is the Ramsar Oceania Officer at SPREP.
