Loan interest may effect profitability of Fiji's new Airbus A330s

Fiji's National Provident Fund is helping to bank roll the purchase of Airbus aircraft for Air Pacific.

The government in Suva has just secured a loan from two German aviation banks to meet the majority of the $600 million investment.

It's unknown what effect the interest on the loans will have on the profitability of the airline soon to be rebadged as Fiji Airways.
