Machete attack on GMO papaya in Hawaii

Machete-weilding "eco-terrorists" have destroyed about 100 genetically modified papaya trees in Hawaii.

This latest attack follows the destruction in a similar fashion of about four hectraes of papaya trees a year earlier.

Hawaiian Papaya growers are also trying to defeat a move by a county councillor who has introduced bills to try to to limit GMO crops.
