Manus Island detention centre a "squalid prison"

The immigration spokeswoman for Australia's minority Greens Party has called Australia's asylum-seeker processing centre on Manus Island, a squalid, rundown prison.

Sarah Hanson-Young has just spent two-days at the centre, inspecting the conditions there and talking to detainees.
