McCain uses Palau to raise China concerns

Former US Presidential candidate John McCain has criticised China over its decision to enforce flight restrictions over parts of the East China Sea which is the subject of a dispute with JapanSenator McCain is in Palua for the Christmas vacation, a destination he regularly visits with his family.

This year, the Palau Congress decided to award him honorary citizenship at a ceremony in the capital Koror.

In his acceptance speech, the Senator gave thanks to Palau's assistance to his country and offered to help them with funding negotiation with the government in Washington.
