MH370 families call for whistleblower to help solve mystery

Updated 9 June 2014, 8:52 AEST

Several families of those aboard missing Malaysia Airlines flight 370 have launched a drive to raise a multi milllion dollar reward to a whistleblower who comes forward with information about the plane's mysterious disappearance.

It has been three months since the Boeing 777 disappeared on a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.

The flight is believed to have crashed in the southern Indian Ocean but no wreckage has been found, and that has lead families of those aboard to suspect a cover-up.

A four week fund raising campaign will be held on an online fund raising platform called Indiegogo.
