Move to abolish polygamy in PNG

Moves to abolish polygamy in Papua New Guinea's are going to be made at the Supreme Court later this year.

The Law Reform Commission says changing the constitutionality of polygamy will help protect the rights of women and children.

The Commission's secretary, Doctor Eric Kwa, tells ABC intern Louisa Wright that polygamy needs to be abolished in Papua New Guinea.
