Native Alaskans get relocation hints from PNG

A pair of Native Alaskan cousins have just returned from somewhere a bit warmer than they're used to - the Carteret Islands in Bougainville.

George and Stanley Tom were sent there to get advice on tackling the problem of relocating people affected by changing climatic conditions - a problem which affects their own settlement in Alaska, as well as the Carterets.

Stanley Tom, the tribal administrator for the Newtok Traditional Council in Alaska, explained to Bruce Hill why two places so different in many ways, also share a similar set of challenges.
