The Socceroos' campaign to secure a spot in next year's World Cup is back on track, after an impressive four nil win over Jordan in Melbourne.

Mark Bresciano, Tim Cahill, and Robbie Kruse scored the first three goals of the game.

Captain Lucas Neill then sealed the deal with his first ever international goal.

Australia still needs to beat Iraq in Sydney next week to guarantee a place in the World Cup in Brazil next year.
