New and undescribed species of fern discovered in New Caledonia

A botanist has discovered two new species of fern in New Caledonia, during an expedition to collect various other plant and animal life.

Dr Leon Perrie, Curator of Botany at Te Papa Museum of New Zealand, spent three weeks collecting at least 160 different species of fern.
