New four time a year AIDS drug unveiled in Melbourne

The 20th AIDS International Conference will wind up later today in Melbourne.

Twelve thousand delegates came to hear about the latest breakthroughs in HIV treatment and in the work to discover a vaccine.

Today they will hear about a new long lasting HIV drug involving just one injection, four times a year.

There are 36 million people around the world affected by HIV.
