New technology has role in poverty alleviation

Across the Pacific, there's been a rapid increase in the use of mobile phones and the internet.

But how can this new technology be used to alleviate poverty?

That was the question posed at a recent development forum in Australia called One Just World.

The series is organised by World Vision Australia, the International Women's Development Agency and AusAID.
