New ways to protect Australia's Great Barrier Reef

Australia's Northeastern state of Queensland is going through a resources boom that requires the building of new ports opposite the World Heritage, Great Barrier Reef.

In response, The Great Barrier Marine Park Authority is taking a new approach in its efforts to protect the regions most vulnerable species.

The strategy will concentrate on those that are under pressure from the increasing development.
