Niue caretake-premier says election results still unclear

A small village in Niue may hold the key to the nations next government following the weekend elections.

A recount will take place in the seat early this week but caretaker-premier Toke Talagi thinks the government has won 11 seats and the opposition eight in the 20-seat Assembly.

Mr Talagi says until the last seat is counted again the results are still very much up in the air.
