No fossil fuel possible says NZ & Pacific youth climate summit

Updated 10 December 2012, 9:58 AEDT

Hundreds of young people from across the Pacific took part in the biggest youth climate summit yet held in New Zealand.

It was called Power Shift NZ Pacific.

It was a collaboration between 350 Aotearoa, a global movement for action on climate change and Generation Zero, a organisation of young New Zealanders calling for better climate policies.

The three-day gathering was described as part conference, part workshop, part festival - celebrating the power of young people to shape their own safe climate future.
