Nuclear contamination still an issue for Marshall Islands

Pacific Island leaders have agreed that both the United Nations and the United States have yet to provide the people of the Marshall Islands with a just resolution to the ongoing impacts on nuclear contamination.

The Marshall Islands was a United Nations trust territory, administered by the US, when the it conducted 67 nuclear bomb tests there in the 1940s and 50s.
