OECD gives AusAID glowing tick of approval

It might be a political hot potato, but Australia's 5 billion dollar annual foreign aid program has been given a glowing report card by the OECD.

The Paris-based agency says the money is largely well spent and there's plenty of transparency about where and how it's allocated.

It comes as the business community calls for controversial budget cuts to be reinstated.
