Over fishing threatens Solomon Island reefs

The most recent statistcs from the US financed Coral Reef program claims that 85 percent of the reefs in the Corial triangle are threatened.

The Coral Reef report was tabled at last week's Coral Reef conference in Cairns.

The countries making up the coral triangle are Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Solomon Islands and Timor-Leste
