Overfishing having disastrous affect on coral reefs

The word from the Coral Reefs Conference in Cairns is that the world's reefs are in crisis.

Overfishing is the main culprint, but man-made pollution and poor environment management programs also contribute to the crisis. On a more positive note reefs in the Pacific are threatened, but if the community management programs continue, there is hope they can be saved.
