Pacific events set to inspire women to be community leaders

Yesterday the world marked International Women's Day, celebrating the achievements of women and setting the next agenda for women's empowerment.

This week, events are happening across the Pacific to address women in leadership, girl's education and domestic violence.

The Fiji Women's Rights Movement spent IWD weekend bringing generations of women together to inspire young women to become leaders for change in their communities.

For Fiji Women's Rights Movement executive director Tara Chetty, the day is always an exciting opportunity.
