Pacific Islands governments failing on violence against women

Pacific Islands states are still failing to tackle the issue of violence against women and girls and particularly domestic violence.

The opening of the 6th quadrennial Pacific regional meeting on the elimination of violence against women and girls was told yesterday that the response from states to the issued left a lot to be desired.
