Palm oil industry flourishing, but for how long?

The palm oil industry in PNG and Solomon Islands is one of the few agri-businesses that continues to perform well.

But Professor George Curry from Curtin University in Perth says it's not all plain sailing.

He will be leading a discussion on some of the controversies and issues surrounding the palm oil trade at the Annual Conference of the Australian Agricultural and Resource Economics Society in Sydney.
