The Pasifika Media Association's training project for journalists and media operators, the Pasifika Trainer, has almost reached the end of its testing phase.

PasiMA says ongoing media education is the key to effective media development, and have developed an online course to give people working in the media the additional skills, knowledge and expertise to venture deeper into investigative reporting.

Kalafi Moala, a member of PasiMA's board and the publisher and CEO of Tonga's Taimi Media Network, says the trainer is made up of a number of modules.
