As the race to the polls heats up in Fiji, the People's Democratic Party has become the first to launch its manifesto for the September election.

The party has promised to review the 2013 Constitution, re-install the Great Council of Chiefs, review the pension scheme, and work toward free water and electricity for the poor.

They have also pledged to rejoin the Pacific Islands Forum, moving away from the new Pacific Islands Development Forum.

PDP Leader Felix Anthony is confident his election promises will win him the votes.

Presenter: Richard Ewart
