PNG government angry over Treasury expert's oil price analysis

Papua New Guinea's government is accusing an Australian Treasury expert of collaborating with the Opposition to undermine it.

The attack came after Paul Flanagan wrote a blog about the impact of fluctuating oil prices on PNG's economy.

Mr Flanagan rejects the claim and says it's a case of the PNG Government "shooting the messenger".
