PNG's resource-rich Western Province least developed

New research has shown that Papua New Guinea's resource-rich Western Province, is also one of the country's poorest and least developed.

The project was led by Professor Mark McGilvray from the Deakin Research Institute at Geelong, and it has found that parts of PNG have had lower levels of health, education and income, than countries like Afghanistan and Liberia.
