Port Vila coral regenerating after crown of thorns starfish attack

Corals in Port Vila harbour are regenerating following an invasion of the crown of thorns starfish few years ago.

Divers who have played a role in the eradication of the pests from the reef say the corals have started growing again.

They believe that the starfish have almost been eradicated from Port Vila harbour but with a problem remaining on reefs in North Efate.
