Project to help FSM kids cope with natural disasters

The International Organisation for Migration has opened a new office in Weno, Chuuk State, in the Federated States of Micronesia to help school children get ready for natural disasters.

The school0based curriculum is being facilitated by the IOM and will include school evacuation drills, emergency first-responders training, assistance with the preparation of emergency preparedness plans and the implementation of adaptation measures.
