Push for greater use of renewable energy in Marshall Islands

The Marshall Islands government is working with Taiwan's development aid agency to encourage more people in urban centres to use renewable energy sources.

A several million dollar revolving fund has been set up to improve access to energy efficient appliances and home solar units that can reduce energy consumption.
