Push to cut Indigenous cancer deaths

Cancer is the second leading cause of death among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The new National Indigenous Cancer Network works to improve the quality of life and survival rates among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cancer patients in Australia was launched this year.

It's a national network that encourages and supports collaboration around Indigenous cancer research and delivery of services to Indigenous people.
