The art of quilting is taking off in Fiji.

Quilting is a sewing method done to join two or more layers of material together to make a thicker padded material ...a quilt for the bed, over the knees on cold days etc.

A quilting enthusiast here in Australia Frances Piquemal went to Fiji recently to teach quilting.
