Samoa prepares to host talks on cancer prevention

World Cancer Day falls on 4 February this year, and it also marks the start of a a conference on cancer prevention and awareness in Samoa.

The meeting will seek to break down myths surrounding the disease. This is the second year that Samoa's taken part in the global event, which is hosted by the Union for International Cancer Control or UICC, and which aims to eliminate cancer for future generations.
