Figures just released from the Samoa International Visitor Survey of 2012 to 2013 shows that almost a quarter of the country's accommodation suppliers had not one single visitor stay with them during that period.

Nynette Sass, who is on the steering committee of the Samoa For Real group, which consists of concerned tourism industry member says the figures show clearly that Samoa needs a new, more focused strategy to attract international visitors.
