Samoa has this week unveiled the terms of reference for a Commission of Inquiry investigating corruption at Tafaigata prison.

The Samoa Observer reports the inquiry will look into alleged loans from prisoners to police officers - and sexual misconduct between them.

Meanwhile, the country's police commissioner, Lilomaiava Fou Taioalo, and the assistant commissioner who heads Tafaigata prison, Seaga Uili Lafaele, have been suspended as the inquiry gets underway.

The inquiry is being led by the Ombudsman's office.

Presenter: Geraldine Coutts
