Secret bank account funds Sharks' supplements scandal

The supplements scandal surrounding the Cronulla Sharks NRL team has deeped with fresh allegations about the conduct of the coach and previous club management.

The nation's anti-doping agency, ASADA is still investigating.

But in claims aired by the ABC's 7.30 program last night, the head coach Shane Flanagan is alleged to have run a bank account to fund a high performance unit - off the books and in defiance of the board's wishes.

The former chief executive of the Sharks, Bruno Cullen has also spoken out about an alarming lack of transparency by the club's previous administrators.
