Security Council adopts Australian resolution on Malaysia Airlines downing

The UN Security Council has adopted an Australian resolution that condemns the downing of Malaysian passenger plane in Ukraine It's demanded that those responsible for downing the plane be held to account, that armed groups "refrain from any actions that may compromise the integrity of the crash site", and that they allow safe, full, unrestricted access to the site.

Australia's Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop, spoke to the resolution at the United Nations Security Council.
