Culture and lack of education in men can lead to a decrease in women's use of reproductive health services, according to recent research from the University of Papua New Guinea's School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

The report titled "Male involvement in sexual and reproductive health in the Mendi district, Southern Highlands province of Papua New Guinea" looks at what men in the district know about sexual and reproductive health and whether they practise what they know.

Presenter: Bethany Keats

Speaker: Sally Kura, Heath information officer for the Southern Highlands Office
