The beach volleyball world championships in Poland have come to a close.

While the Vanuatu womens pair - Henriette Latika and Miller Elwin - lost in the second elimination round, they did so to the eventual winners of the competition: China.

The Vanuatu duo were the lowest ranked team to get to that stage which was a significant achievement.

Now they've returned home, including their coach Lauren Mcleod who says she's proud of their efforts.

Presenter: Geraldine Coutts

Speaker: Lauren McLeod, coach of the Vanuatu women's beach volleyball team.
