Socceroos confident ahead of World Cup qualifier

Australia can take another big stride towards securing a spot at the World Cup finals for the third tournament in a row when they play Oman in a qualifier in Sydney tonight.

Coach Holger Osieck has chosen a squad that includes six players from the A-League, but a seventh, the captain Lucas Neil will be absent because of suspension.
