Solomons suspends logging on Temotu Province island

The Premier of Temotu province in Solomon Islands has welcomed the National Government's decision to suspend logging operaitons in the Island of Vanikoro.

Father Brown Beu has says the logging operation is illegal because the Malaysian company, Jaya Berjaya, doesn't have a business licence.

But the company insists they're acting within the law.
