SPC conference discusses disease, food security and climate

Government representative from the 26 member countries of the Secretariat of the Pacific Community or S-P-C are meeting in Noumea this week.

It's the annual gathering of the organisation's governing body and the agenda covers changes to the structure and funding of the S-P-C.

The delegates are also discussing the regional challenges of non-communicable diseases, or N-C-Ds, food security and climate change.

Pius Bonjui asked the Director-general Doctor Jimmie Rodgers about these problems.
