Much has been said about the increasing intensity of dengue epidemics in the Pacific region.

Some have suggested it might just be down to better diagnosis and tracking.

But, what of the role of climate change?

Dr Christophe Menkes from New Caledonia's Institute of Research and Development has just completed a study on that very topic.
