Tenth anniversary for Fiji 'suitcase' community radio

From little things big things grow is a line from a song by Australian singer Paul Kelly but it also reflects the reality of the success of FEMLINK Pacific's suitcase radio.

The suitcase radio started ten years ago next week in Fiji and has grown from transmitting with a small portable transmitter to three community radio stations with TV simulcasts.

Executive Director of FEMILINK Pacific and founder of the suitcase radio service Sharon Bhagwan Rolls says its more than fulfulled their expectations.
