Updated 10 May 2013, 9:16 AEST

In Tonga, five newly installed tsunami warning sirens will be tested today in Nuku'alofa and in the Hihifo villages of Afaa and Talafoou.

The Director of National Disaster Management Office, Liveni 'Aho, says the drill will test if the sirens can be heard by surrounding residents and to familiarise people with the sound of the system.
