A non-government organisation called 'Stop GMO Pacific' has just completed a tour of Fiji, Vanuatu and Solomon Islands to collect data on genetically modified seeds.

The group, based in New Caledonia, argues that imported genetically-modified seeds could become a threat to agro-biodiversity and indigenous crops in the Pacific.
