The French Polynesia festival underway in Melbourne

This week the Australian city of Melbourne is playing host to the best that French Polynesia has to offer.

The inaugural French Polynesia festival has started, with business trying to attract tourists and also Australian markets for locally made products.

As well its a chance for Australian's to share a bit of Polynesian culture, with dancers, singers and movies.

Pacific Correspondent Campbell Cooney went along to the launch at Melbourne's historic Como House, and filed this report.
