Tonga's rugby league team hopes for a quarter finals world cup berth

"We are doing this for our people, to give back to our country", so says Charles Tonga, coach of Mate Ma'a Tonga, the national rugby league team which is bound for the World Cup in England.

The Tongans face Scotland, Italy and Pacific rivals Cook Islands in the pool round, with their sights set on a quarter-final place at least.

But with players based in Australia and England, as well Tonga itself, coach Tonga has had very little time for squad bonding before boarding the plane for Europe.
